Texts include Charter of Liberty by Dr. Alice Bell & Carron Little, Make Some Noise by Tricia Van Eck, The Afterlife of Meetings by Joanna Matuszak analyzing the Out of Site Chicago performance by ieke Trinks and Bernard Roddy in 2013, The Ritual of Failure by Meredith Weber, review and interview with Jeff Huckleberry, an artist text by Vanessa Dion Fletcher called Weaving A Public Art Wampum, and an interview with Mothergirl by Sara Legg in addition to the 8 Acts of Love included in the exhibition and documentation of these public performances. Intercity Project

We are thrilled to announce the launch of an Intercity Project that has been in development for two years envisaged by ieke Trinks & Carron Little in partnership with WORM, Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Four artists were selected through a jury process and invited to select artists to collaborate with. All collaborating pairs were confirmed by January 2023 and started the process of development. We launched this invitation with a presentation in zoom where ieke & Carron shared previous collaborative performances they had created using skype. The eight artists began the process of thinking about different ways they could use technology to share the simultaneous live experience in Chicago and Rotterdam. These artists included Adrian Wood & Frans van Lent, Carlos Salazar - Lermont & Ratri Notosudirdjo, Regin Igloria & Katrhin Wolkowisz, Sarah Beth Woods & Contemporary Glory, Contemporary Cash. The live public performances were created and transmited in Chicago and Rotterdam simultaneously on September 23, & September 30, 2023.

Please scroll down this page to find out more about each participating artist and who they are collaborating with.

Below are the links to the live stream broadcast on September 23 & 30, 2023. This live performance was made possible through the support of WORM, Rotterdam, Chicago Park District, Experimental Sound Studio, Prince Bernhard Culture Fund and Mondrian Foundation.
